Watford stands as a remarkable town, woven with the threads of remarkable individuals throughout its history. Among them, some are globally recognised, including iconic pop sensation Sir Elton John. Yet, the true heartbeat of Watford is those who've etched their significance closer to home.

In our centenary year, 2022, we asked for nominations of Watfordians, be it figures from days gone by or those who have actively shaped the town's present. These nominations were then presented to a community panel and 100 were chosen.
